All are welcome to join us as we commemorate Remembrance Sunday this year at the Stone of Remembrance at Edinburgh City Chambers. Wreaths will be laid by the Lord Provost, representatives from the Scottish Government, UK Government and the wider Armed Forces and Veterans community to remember our fallen at 1100 hours on Sunday 12th November 2023.

Main times are below:

10.00am Parade personnel to arrive at Edinburgh Castle Esplanade.
10.00am All VIP’s, Veteran & Association Wreath Layers gather at City Chambers.
10.30am Legion Scotland & Association Standards will take up their positions
10.32am Veteran’s detachments led by RAF Central Scotland Pipes & Drums will step off followed by The Service detachments led by Band SCOTS
10.50am Veterans & Association Wreath Layers in position at City Chambers.
10.50am Service & Veterans Detachments in position at City Chambers.
10.57am City Officers lead VIP Wreath Layers into position in front of City Chambers
11.00am Single round fired from gun at Edinburgh Castle to begin two-minute silence.
11.02am Single round fired from gun at Edinburgh Castle to end silence.
