Breaking News: Protest against Ratnagiri Refinery. The villagers instigated the protest, and cops lathicharged and used teargas shells. Uddhav Sena faction leader Vinayat  Raut has been detained. Protests have been going on for the last few days in Barsu village of Ratnagiri district regarding the refinery project that is supposed to come to the district. The local villagers are protesting against the refinery as it will harm their environment and take their lands. Soil testing is going on for the refinery project to come.
