Well... I have been taking far too long to remove the paint from my case 646 tractor and I happed upon a video from 'Just a Few Acres Farm' saying how he removed the paint from his Farmall hood with a stripper disk on the drill. So I thought I would give it a try. While I was at it, I figured that I may as well record the testing to share with all of you so that you might benefit from it as well. I had been using a combination of a scraper, various wire wheels, as well as paint stripper but with so many parts to get through, I was not happy with my progress.

The disk doesn't look like it would perform any better, it is light, and is full of holes, so you don't seem to get a lot for the money. They are available in different levels of aggressiveness, which seems to be based on the colour. They remind me a lot of a heavy duty version of a Scotchbright pad.
The results of the testing were a game changer for me, I doubt I'll be going back and it has given me some ideas about other ways to remove paint for tight spaces as well.
