On a recent walk in an ancient woodland I was able to see a huge variety of plants. Britain has many wildflowers, trees, rushes, ferns and more that are found in this specialist habitat. Ancient woodlands have been in the UK for at least 500 years, being used by wildlife and humans alike. Have you seen any of these species in ancient woodlands near you?
