Paola Neri, MD, PhD, University of Calgary, Calgary, AB, Canada, briefly discusses how resistance to immunotherapies in myeloma can be caused by a loss of target and T-cell exhaustion. Dr Neri also highlights the importance of healthy memory cells and their role in patient response to therapy.
