Ingredients of Chingri Kochur Loti:
1. Kochur loti / Taro stolons (500 gms)
2. Chingri / Prawn (200 gm).
3. Chopped onion (2 medium sizes).
4. Garlic paste (2 tsp).
5. Green chilli paste (4 no).
6. Black cumin seeds (¼ tsp).
7. Turmeric powder (1 tsp).
8. Red chilli powder ( ¼ tsp).
9. Salt (as per your taste).
10. Sugar (as per your taste).
11. Refined oil.
Methods of How to cook Chingri Kochur Loti:
1. Boil the kochur loti/Taro stolons adding ¼ tsp of salt. Close the lid and boil for 5 min.
2. After boiling strained extra water.
3. Marinate the prawn fish with ¼ tsp salt and ¼ tsp of turmeric powder.
4. Heat the pan properly. Add refined oil.
5. Fry the Chingri Mach very well. Keep aside.
6. Reduce the extra oil and keep 4 tbsp oil in pan.
7. Add ¼ tsp black cumin seeds and fry for 5 to 10 sec.
8. Add chopped onion. Fry till become golden brown.
9. Add 2 tsp garlic paste. Fry for 30 sec in medium flame.
10. Add green chilli paste. Fry for 15 sec in medium flame.
11. Add 1/ tsp turmeric powder, and ¼ tsp red chilli powder. Mixed it well.
12. Add fried prawn, boiled kachur loti. Mixed it well.
13. Add ½ tsp salt, and ¼ tsp sugar. Mixed it well.
14. Now cook in high flame for 1 min.
15. Close the lid for 5 min in medium flame.
16. After 5 min cook in high flame for 2 min.
17. Taste it. Add more salt and sugar as per your taste.
18. Put off gas oven. Your recipe is ready.
19. Serve hot Kochur Loti Diye Chingri Mach with hot steamed rice.
