Check out the awesome new spaces at our Disability North Hub in the Gungahlin Community Centre. After consulting with our clients on what they wanted and needed, we recently upgraded their spaces and resources. They were so excited! And so were we!
Emily, one of our North Hub facilitators, shows us around the refurbished hub. Have a look at the new spaces for clients to sit, relax, and do activities. There's even computer stations and a projector screen for movies and yoga. We're especially proud of the amazing new sensory room and the gym with loads of new equipment to kickstart our new fitness program.
Our Disability North Hub is part of the disability programs we run in Tuggeranong and Gungahlin specially targeted to school-aged children, teens, young adults and adults. Our group-based programs focus on building independent life skills in a caring, non-judgemental and nurturing environment through workshops, activities, and community participation.
