90s KGO story from its opening day on the site of a former Ford motor plant. You can see the old Media Play (closed in the mid 2000s where Bed Bath and Beyond is now) and Burlington Coat Factory which is still there. Notice the 80s style white tile floors, where it now has a more rustic/lodge style wood paneling.
Notice the aerial satellite views, showing it before the adjacent lots were built up in the early-mid 2000s, and before the outparcels (i.e. Outback Steakhouse) were built.
Also shows the then recently built (1992) Vintage Oaks outdoor shopping center in Novato, and covered how the downtown night life was sagging because of that.
