The Tech Aid for Rural Development (TARD) Mobile ICT Lab is a groundbreaking initiative by TARD Ghana, a youth-led local NGO in the upper west region of Ghana, committed to driving development in rural and underserved communities through digital skills and tools. In the digital age, access to information and technology is paramount for individual growth, community development, and economic prosperity. Unfortunately, many schools in rural areas have been left behind, lacking the privilege of experiencing the transformative power of computers and digital literacy. TARD Ghana recognizes this disparity and is dedicated to bridging the digital divide through the TARD Mobile ICT Lab project.

One of our objectives is to ensure that every student in rural schools within the upper west region has access to basic computer skills training, enabling them to navigate the digital world confidently.
