Sprout seeds in a mason jar in just a few easy steps:
1. Trace the lid of a mason jar on plastic needlework canvas, then cut out the circle.
2. Add seeds, such as alfalfa, radish and lentil, to mason jars.
3. Cover the mason jars with plastic needlework canvas and secure with canning band.
4. Soak seeds for 12 hours.
5. Keep in a warm spot out of direct sun.
6. Rinse the sprouts two times per day.
7. Enjoy on sandwiches and salads! The sprouts will keep in the refrigerator for one week.
