The Steinway & Sons grand piano (B model) is tuned to an Unequal Romantic Temperament (eight 1/8 comma tempered 5ths and four perfect 5ths: F-C, E-B, F#-C#, Eb-Bb) by Tadashi Hara (Concert Technician, Steinway & Sons France).

On Saturday, March 7, 2020, Salle Labrouste, the iconic reading hall of the Sainte-Geneviève Library in Paris, hosts an exceptional concert of classical music for the first time.

Wedding Day at Troldhaugen (1896) performed by Ziad Kreidy. Composed years after Edvard and Nina’s Wedding, this piece was at first a four-hand composition, entitled "Arrival of the Wellwishers", inspired by the many people who arrived at Troldhaugen, when they celebrated their Silverwedding.

Recorded with a with a Tascam dr-100mkiii and filmed on March 7, 2020, Salle Labrouste, Bibliothèque Sainte-Geneviève, Paris, France.

Ziad Kreidy’s career led him to perform in France, Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Norway, USA, Mexico, and Lebanon [ Ссылка ]

Since 2010, he records in concert and with natural sound recording for LdN and Maguelone Music. His recording of the first four opuses of the Lyric Pieces of Grieg on an upright piano Erard from 1867 received critical acclaim [ Ссылка ]

He has authored several books and academic articles and is currently Professor of Music History and Analysis at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional of Versailles [ Ссылка ]

Following his interest in ancient pianos tuning, he designed his personal 1/8 comma temperament for the romantic and impressionist repertoire [ Ссылка ]
