District Veterinary officers are asking government to consider revamping animal health and production infrastructure in most districts in the country. According to veterinary officers, these will enhance capacity for the ministry to supervise and control with regulations among others animal health through regional laboratories. The agriculture ministry is looking to export 4 billion litres of milk to Algeria and there is a need to set standards to meet the production demands.
