The following are some of the common reasons why your LG washer is not dispensing fabric softener;
1. Low water pressure.
2. Clogged dispenser draw.
Here is how to fix these issues,
Supply the washer with proper water pressure.
The ideal water pressure for LG washers is 100-800 kPa.
If this does not work,
Clean inside the dispenser.
To do this, use the following steps;
• Pull out the dispenser as far as it will go, press and hold the center of the cover cap, and pull it out (front load washers).
Pull out the dispenser and lift to remove it (Top load washers).
• Take the fabric softener cap out and check if the hole is clogged.
• Clean it under running water and with a small brush.
• Reinstall the fabric softener cap in the dispenser.
• Put the dispenser back in the washer.
