Unlike last year when Hari Raya Aidilfitri was announced a day earlier than scheduled, many Malaysians have made advanced preparation in case the same scenario were to happen again this year.
So instead of a mad rush to buy the essentials for the Raya celebration, many of them have taken the opportunity to go for a leisurely shopping spree at the local mall.
