We traveled to Egypt in february and dived literally into another world. Cairo is one of the biggest cities in the world and already the way from the airport to the pyramids was breathtaking as everything was shaped by a different culture. Especially the pyramids emerging in the dust of the desert or the sound of the mosques in the evening after sunset made it to an unforgettable experience. Afterwards we headed to Luxor which is in comparison to Cairo a small city (has "only" 1.4 mio. inhabitants). Luxor is the green city at the nile and brings a variety of history. Our journey ended in Hurghada where we could explore the unique reefs of the red sea.

Although it was a wonderful journey we were frequently confronted with challenges such as corruption or never ending bargaining.

But all in all we would definitely return in the future.
