While his solo work is not as well known as his Genesis band mates, Phil Collins and Mike Rutherford, keyboardist Tony Banks recorded "This Is Love" as part of his album, The Fugitive released on Charisma Records in June 1983. The song was released as a single in May of that year. Personnel on the album include Tony Banks: Vocals, keyboards, synth bass and LinnDrum; Daryl Stuermer: Guitars; Mo Foster: Bass guitar, and Tony Beard: Drums and percussion.
