The Specialized Rockhopper has been around for over 30 years, but for 2020 this venerable entry-level classic has had a complete overhaul.
Specialized are offering a multitude of bikes, ranging from £379 to £899, in up to eight different sizes across both 27.5in and 29in wheel options. With sizes ranging from XS to XXL, the suspension travel varies between the smallest and largest, from 80-100mm.
Specialized have given the bike a new A1 Premium Alloy frameset, with XC inspired geometry, that's had a little bit of versatility added on top - hidden rack and fender mounts mean this bike should be capable of tackling not only the trail, but the rugged streets as well.
