The Canon EF (Electro Focusing) mount was introduced in 1987, replacing the long-running FD mount. It brought with it total electronic control, with all settings controlled through electrical contacts rather than mechanical posts, gears, etc. Nuno and Nico give you a short overview of the system and make some recommendations on how to get started.
