In this scene from the classic journalism movie "All the President's Men", journalist Bob Woodward confronts government informant Mark Felt for information on corrup activities within the Richard Nixon White House. Felt was instrumental in the years-long investigation, which resulted in Nixon's resignation and the catapulting of Woodward and Carl Bernstein to iconic status in the profession.
Woodward referred to Felt as "Deep Throat" because he was so deep within the government at the time, and kept his identity secret for decades. Felt, who was an Associate Director of the FBI at the time, revealed his own identity as the informant 30 years later.
