Lokas - 7 Worlds Above Us
Based on our Puranas, single universe is divided into 14 planes, with top six known as Urdhava Lokas
1. Sathya Loka (Brahma Loka): This is the abode of Lord Brahma and Goddess Sarasvati.
2. Tapa Loka: The realm of the four Kumaras, Sanat, Sanak, Sanandan, and Sanatan. The distance is mentioned as 12 crore yojanas.
3. Jana Loka: This realm is inhabited by divine and higher beings. It is mentioned to be eight crore yojanas away from Bhuloka.
4. Mahar Loka: Mahar Loka is the abode of Rishis and Munis. It is located at a distance of 2 crore yojanas.
5. Swarga Loka: Swarga Loka is the heavenly realm where 33 Vedic Devas, including Indra, reside. It is mentioned to be 80,000 yojanas away from Bhuloka.
6. Bhuvar Loka: Bhuvar Loka is the realm of the seven sages (Sapta Rishis), nakshatras, and solar planets. Yakshas, Pishachas, and Bhoots also inhabit it.
7. Bhuloka: Bhuloka is the earthly realm where humans reside. It is also known as Mrityu Loka, the realm of mortality.
