Montgomery County's "Ride-On" and WMATA Metrobus, along with P.G. County "TheBus" and Shuttle-UM of College Park, transport and layover with ease at a once congested pedestrian and vehicular traffic intersection. Not to say traffic has change - relatively the same - but the congestion of buses impeding motorists and pedestrians taking drastic chances of dodging traffic to reach their bus transfers are deemed over. Come the 2020s, the new Purple Line light rail will serve this transfer center [via the University Boulevard corridor platform/railroad tracks along median] .
