A large asteroid will pass between Earth and the moon on Saturday. The asteroid, discovered earlier this month, ranges from 120 to 260 metres in diameter. CBC’s science and climate specialist Darius Mahdavi says there’s no need to worry about a potential impact, but the late discovery of the asteroid is ‘a big deal.’
