Today's theme: Challenging Your Character
Prompt #1: 5 minutes, ends at :10
Use the words “trickle” and “butterfly” in your passage.
Prompt #2: 10 minutes, ends at :31
Your character encounters a minor inconvenience and has been tired all day, like if someone spilled coffee on them, their car won’t start up or they’re late to an event. How does your character react to that? Really try getting into your character's personality and mindset, and don’t be afraid to let their reaction be a bit messy!
Prompt #3: 10 minutes, ends at :57
Pick a scene in your story to write and develop that involves a pivotal moment in your character's interaction with conflict. Write through that scene, and at the end, see how it revealed something about your character to the reader.
