With Post Relationships, you can connect different post types in WordPress. Then, when displaying one post/page, you can display any information from the post that it's connected to. For example, you can connect events to speakers, so when you display specific events, you can easily list all its speakers.

WordPress doesn't provide post relationships out-of-the-box but Toolset provides you with the most robust solution out there. Not only does it allow you to connect different items, it allows you to easily (and visually) display related information on the front-end.
