Of course you could buy a fly cutter, but if you’re into making things why not make your own. I took an old carbide saw blade and cut a piece from this.Then I used a metal lave and a milling machine to make the base to fit into a harbor freight mini milling machine. I tried the tool and it worked pretty good. But it needed to have some of the relief ground down on the carbide tooth. After this modification it works a lot better.
