Hi folks - today I decided to visit the Glen Garioch distillery and peruse around the visitors centre shop. I highly recommend that you do visit the distillery if you ever get to Aberdeenshire. It's one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland, founded in 1797. Very nice selection of whisky in the visitor's shop and very friendly staff.
Ended up getting two bottles - the first one is a 17 year old matured in a mix of bourbon and sherry casks and the second one is an 18 year old red wine cask matured, distilled in 1999. Tasting notes were very promising on first visit and I look forward to doing a proper review once the bottles have had time to breathe. Hope you enjoy the video guys :)
