The 2010 Maserati Quattroporte S is a four-door luxury sedan that's powered by Ferrari and designed by Pininfarina. You could say that it’s an Italian sports car cleverly disguised as a four-door. Built on an entirely new platform named the M139, the fifth-generation facelift Quattroporte S debuted with a wet-sump 4.7-liter V8 engine, the same engine that was utilized in the Maserati GranTurismo S. A bigger engine over the standard Quattroporte model meant that this Quattroporte S model required a better braking system. Which resulted in Maserati upgrading this model with ventilated cross-drilled discs on both axles and dual-cast 360 mm rotors with six piston calipers in the front. Despite being over 16 feet long, with Skyhook active damping suspension, this luxury sedan can drive through bends like a sports car half its size. It may not be as luxurious as a Mercedes-Benz S-Class or a BMW 7 series, but the Quattroporte has been given serious attention to its styling and design before it came out of Italy. The current owner has reported a recent oil change, along with 68,000 miles clocked on the odometer. This Italian stallion is for sale in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
