*** Verdict ***
This is a well made, aesthetically pleasing reproduction of a liuyedao that works admirably for cutting practice. It's also one of the few reproductions of Chinese swords currently on the market that offer such high quality at a comparatively low price.
The fit could use some improvement but it held up well during the testing, and overall it's very easy to recommend this saber to anyone with an interest in Chinese weapons.
