The first phase of assembly elections in the state of Uttar Pradesh began today. The voters are casting their votes in 58 constituencies in 11 districts of Uttar Pradesh. Amid these 58 constituencies, Kairana is one of them. Mirror Now's correspondent Harsha reports from the ground. Both male and female voters have turned out in large numbers to cast their votes, even after there are several sensitive polling booths in the district. The police are also checking whether each and every voter and whether COVID appropriate norms are being followed in the polling centres.
