That's right, it's not the Nike Vaporfly 4% Flyknit, it is the Adidas Adios 4 that has set more world records in the past decade. Obviously the Nike Vaporfly 4% Flyknit is breaking new ground with its technology in 2017 and 2018. BUT, it was really Adidas and its incredible elite athletes and runners who were blazing the trail for marathon world records over the past 10 years. It will be fascinating to watch the Tokyo Marathon on Sunday, to see what the elite marathon runners will be wearing on their feet. Who else will be watching the Tokyo marathon live? And I will always say that it is of course the athlete who sets the world records, not the shoes, but it is fun to see what everyone is choosing to to the line with! Adidas Adizero Adios 4 definitely has my attention in 2019.
