Real Reason Dubai's Man-Made Islands Failed!
Dubai's artificial island project was a grand vision, consisting of five separate islands, each with its unique concept and design. The project included three palm-shaped islands—Palm Jumeirah, Palm Jebel Ali, and Palm Deira—along with an archipelago of 300 small islands named "The World" and another set of smaller islands called "The Universe," designed to resemble constellations. Construction on the palm islands began in 2000, with the idea of creating an oasis within Dubai, offering more shops, hotels, resorts, beaches, and luxury goods. The palm islands also featured mansion-like homes in unique contemporary styles within gated communities, designed to mimic the Hollywood Hills lifestyle.

However, as Tomorrow City reports, not one of the five islands has been completed yet.
