메르켈, 트럼프에 "한국•EU 자유무역협정 양쪽에 이익"
German Chancellor Angela Merkel has heaped praise on the free trade deal between South Korea and the European Union,... saying the FTA created more jobs in the EU.
She made her remarks on Friday during a press conference at the White House with U.S. President Donald Trump.
Referring to the deal that has been effect for around six years,... Merkel said people in the EU were concerned about losing jobs, especially in the auto industry, but in the end, it turned out that both sides benefited.
President Trump has been sharply critical of his own country's FTA with Seoul,... calling it a "job-killing deal" while he was campaigning to be president.
