Today is March 1, and we're starting the new month with much warmer temperatures and some sunshine.
“The timeline looks beautiful," says 3News meteorologist Hollie Strano. "We’ll go from more cloud cover to start to a lot of bright skies and those 60s later today.”

While tomorrow is seasonal with highs in the 40s, we're also keeping watch on an incoming system that will bring rain to the region on Friday.
“The next thing that everyone is talking about, of course, is this system for Friday," Strano says. "By the time we get to early Friday morning, here it comes out of the south and west. There is rain – and a lot of it. Friday looks like a soaker. Windy, rainy, heavy rain at times. Transitioning to snow Friday night into Saturday.”
