Over time you may notice you can exert more effort and get better power output data, while maintaining a lower heart rate, which is great. When you connect the Scosche Rhythm+ to the Peloton App you can view your heartrate on the screen you are playing the Peloton App. Additionally your heartrate and metrics are logged in the Peloton App, so if you want to impress yourself with your fitness improvements, you should start logging your data on your very first ride, and then after a month or two, go back and do that exact same first ride again, and then compare the graphs for your metrics and power and heart rate, and see how much more you're able to achieve while maintaining a lower heart rate. Or you can just go for a walk with your dog and track your heart rate. The way the Scosche Rhythm+ Armband heart rate monitor works is quite simple. All you need to do is put the Armband on and then press and hold the power button for a moment, and then connect it to whatever hardware you'd like to use to track the metrics. The Scosche Rhythm+ uses ANT+ technology which is something that ultimately allows the Scosche to connect to multiple devices at the same time, so you can cast your heart rate to a watch, and a tablet, and your phone all at the same time if you'd like to. Connecting it is a breeze and we haven't had any issues with connectivity so far.As comparison we have ran the Scosche Rhythm+ side by side with the Apple Watch 5 and the results are very very similar, I can't say for sure how precise the heart rate monitor is, but they both give very similar read outs, and the important part for us is to get a decently accurate reading to keep an eye on the heart rate training zones, as well as compare how our heart rate is improving over time. This isn't really intended to be a full Scosche Rhythm+ heart rate monitor review, but a basic run down showing how it works and how you can use this device as part of a DIY Peloton Bike setup. Also, if you'd like to buy the Scosche Rhythm+ heart rate monitor for your own DIY Peloton bike setup I put a link to it in the description box below this video, and if you buy it through our link it really helps support this channel as well, so I'd appreciate it.
