Emergency crews evacuated homes in west Baltimore after a gas line was struck Wednesday afternoon. Baltimore City fire and hazmat crews were called around 2 p.m. to the 800 block of Ellicott Driveway near Edmondson Avenue in west Baltimore, where contractors working on CSX train tracks struck a large gas line.
