📌ingredients:
- 1 cup of mashed walnuts
- 10 cloves of garlic
- 5- 10 cups of strained yogurt
- 6 damask roses
- cumin, ginger powder, and black pepper ( you chose the amount)
- 2 tbsp dried mint
- 10 tbsp salt
- 100g herb( You chose the kind)
- 0.5 cup of raisins
- 5 cucumbers
- water
📌preparation:
- first of all, make ice cubes with damask roses and water. it's for the design and also a very fresh cold taste!
- in a bowl, add 5 tbsp strained yogurt and stir it.
-chop the herbs and add them to the yogurt.
- peel and chop the cucumbers and add them to the yogurt.
- peel and mash the walnuts and add them to the yogurt.
- add the raisins to the yogurt.
- peel and grate the garlic and add that to the yogurt.
- add ginger powder.
- add black pepper
- add some salt.
- add the dried mint.
- add the cumin.
- mash the damask roses.
- pour them on the yogurt and ingredients.
- in a jar, add 10 tbsp salt, 5 cups of strained yogurt, and 10 cups of water.
- stir that well.
👀 Persian people use Doogh in preparing Abdoogh Khiar but maybe is hard for you to find that out of Iran so by doing this you will have your own Doogh!
- stir the yogurt and all the ingredients in the bowl.
- add your Doogh to that.
- stir well.
- now add the damask roses ice cubes to that.
- so easy! enjoy!
👀 Persian people usually eat this dish with dried bread or crackers. try that cause is the essence of Abdoogh Khiar!
