Russell Johnson, Curator for History of Medicine and the Sciences, UCLA Library Special Collections, will explore the 1918-1919 Influenza Pandemic through personal narratives and printed materials from the home-front—especially throughout New England—and soldiers overseas. Johnson will be joined by Kiley Samz, Rare Book Specialist at Rootenberg Rare Books & Manuscripts, among the leaders in the fields of science, medicine, technology and natural history.
