An Atlas V rocket carrying the GPS 2F-11 satellite lifts off from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station as seen from just under 400 feet above the beach at Lori Wilson Park in Cocoa Beach, Florida. The Atlas V rocket does not produce much of a rocket plume as compared to the Delta family of rockets or the Space Shuttle, and was mainly a bright orange dot streaking into the sky.
