In 2022 you would think that we would have a level of maturity in the tooling that the decisions that needed to be made are pretty clear-cut, but do a little research and you will find yourself in a world of differing opinions, performance charts and confusion.
This slightly opinionated talk will look back at the history of web development and the current state of play and emerging trends in web application development and what is driving some of these.
Finally we will step back from the mayhem and consider what we need to think and what questions to ask when determining what tech stack to use.
