Have you ever wondered how bottles are filled, capped, labelled and serial numbered?
This Automatic Liquid Filling Line has been built to fill 4 bottles at once, before fixing a Roll-On-Pilfer-Proof (ROPP) cap, and applying 2 labels to each bottle. In this instance, 750ml bottles are being filled with Rum.
The Posivac Automatic Liquid Filling Machine - Made in the UK by Universal Filling Machine Company - is available in a variety of formats, to fill between 2 and 12 bottles at once. It works by creating a vacuum within the bottle, which displaces liquid from the supply vessel, effectively sucking it into the bottle. Once the desired fill level is reach, excess liquid is automatically returned to the supply and the bottles pass via a conveyor system transports the bottles to the Posicap ROPP automatic ROPP Capping machine.
Meanwhile, a Hopper/Elevator conveys ROPP caps to a Vibrating Bowl Feeder which arranges and supplies the caps to the Posicap ROPP automatic capping machine.
Caps are automatically positioned onto the bottles and the ROPP Capping Head forms the cap around the bottle neck.
The capped bottles are then transported to the automatic labeller which simultaneously applies a label to the front and back of each bottle, before passing to a Rotary Collection Table for removal and packing.
