Hey guys, in today’s video I would discuss what is a MOV and how does a MOV works? What is DOB and if DOB can be sold in Warranty.
Guys, MOV is called Metal Oxide Varistor and it is used in an Electrical Circuit for surge protection. MOV is used in parallel to AC mains in order to protect the circuit from Voltage Surges. MOV is basically a variable resistor that decreases its resistance in the case of Voltage Surge, hence, acting as a short circuit. MOV is used along with FUSE in an Electric Circuit.
Secondly, in the video, I have shared my views on the quality of Alfa DOB. I have also shared what components should be present on a DOB if you want to sell your LED Bulb in a Warranty.
