The COVID-19 pandemic has introduced the need to wear face masks and social distance. In this video, Emma discusses the hearing challenges faced when communicating with people wearing face masks, and how hearing impaired people might be particularly affected. She discusses "mask mode" which is available in some hearing aid manufacturer's apps, or a customised mask program for hearing aids and how this can help improve hearing through masks.
