హరిహర సోదరులిద్దరు హరిహర రాయలు అతని తమ్ముడు బుక్కరాయలు 1323వ సంవత్సరములో కాకతీయ చక్రవర్తి ప్రతాపరుద్రుని వద్ద కోశాధికారులుగా ఉన్నారు.
ఓరుగల్లు పతనము తరువాత ఈ గొల్ల సోదరులిద్దరూ కంపిలికి పోయి ఆనెగొంది సంస్థానములో చేరారు. మహమ్మద్ బిన్ తుగ్లక్ 1326లో కంపిలిని జయించినపుడు వీరిద్దరూ బందీలుగా ఢిల్లీ తరలించబడ్డారు. దారిలో భయంకరమైన గాలి దుమారం వచ్చి సైనికులు, బందీలు చెల్లాచెదరయ్యారు. హరిహర వీరమల్లు సోదరులిద్దరు మాత్రము పారిపోక ఒక చెట్టు కింద కూర్చొనివుండగా సుల్తాను గమనించి వారిని ప్రశ్నించగా వారిచ్చిన సమాధానానికి సంతోసించి వారికి ఢిల్లీ దర్బారులో స్థానమిచ్చాడు. ఆ తరువాత ఆ సోదరులిద్దరూ ఇస్లాం మతానికి మార్చబడ్డారు.
