In this video, I’m branching out into an era I’ve never tried before--the 18th century! I’m using a French blue cotton jersey knit to create a shirt based on the jackets and gowns worn by women in England and the British colonies that became the United States. Join me as I design my shirt based on reference pictures from the Met, construct the shirt, and try to play fetch with an adorable dog statue!
