Students enrolled in Music Scoring for Visual Media at Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music have the opportunity to compose, produce, and orchestrate music for film, TV, and gaming. Leading the program--which is the first of its kind at the internationally renowned Jacobs School--is Emmy Award-winning composer Larry Groupé, who was appointed to design and implement the program. Music Scoring for Visual Media became available in spring 2017, fostering a series of close collaborations with IU’s Media School and the IU Cinema.
