Psalm 23
Verse 1
The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want,
He leads me to green pastures where I can rest.
Beside still waters He calms my soul,
I find peace in the quiet where His love unfolds.

He restores my spirit, lifts me from despair,
Guiding my steps in paths of righteousness,
For His name’s sake, I’m never alone.

Though I walk through the valley,
In shadows so deep, I will fear no evil for you are near,
Your rod and your staff, they bring me comfort,
In your presence I find peace.

You prepare a table in the presence of my foes,
Anoint my head with oil, my cup overflows.
I’m surrounded by your love, my enemies fade,
In your mercy I’m helped, forever unafraid.
