Exploring Mono Lake South Tufa
We visited one of beautiful and unique natural site located near Yosemite National Park within Mono County, in eastern California. Mono Lake Tufa State Natural Reserve was established in 1981 by the California State Legislature to preserve the natural limestone "Tufa tower" formations at Mono Lake.
The Tufa of Mono Lake has stone structures almost like a coral reef but above the water
