The Northern Hemisphere tropical region is certainly not dormant at the moment, with five Invests - areas of disturbed weather that may develop into tropical cyclones.
Invest 90C is currently located over Hawai'i's Big Island, and as there is hardly anything of the system it is not likely to develop.
Invest 91E is currently drifting westwards over the Eastern Pacific, and may turn back to the northeast towards the Mexican coast.
Invest 92E currently has a 30% chance of development, and is located near Mexico. The system is likely to move very slowly and possible intensify into a tropical storm over the next few days.
Invest 94B is currently located near the Indian coastline, not too far from the border with Bangladesh. If 94B is to develop, it will likely become a short-lived cyclone.
Invest 95A is currently located near Oman in the Arabian Sea, and due to its location is not likely to develop into a significant tropical cyclone.
