Hi my name is Patricia Bleckman,
Today I’ll show you how to use the KE2 Evaporator Efficiency controller’s MasterView screens to setup KE2 Smart Access
KE2 Smart Access allows you to remotely monitor, and control, your walk in freezers, walk in coolers, or other refrigeration systems
and is available when you’re using a KE2 Evap, with firmware 4.0 or newer, or if you are connecting through a KE2 LDA communication device.
If you are using the webpages to setup KE2 SmartAccess, then you have already installed and configured the controller,
and it should be connected to the KE2 SmartGate with a cat 5 cable.
Using your PC, phone or tablet, enter the controller’s current IP address, in your web browsers’ address bar.
The factory default is found on a sticker on the back of the controller.
This will bring you to the controller’s Home Page.
Click on the Settings button,
Once on the Settings page, click on Login
Login to the controller. The default User Name is ke2admin ,
and the default password is also ke2admin
Click Submit.
And, you are back on the Settings page, and ready to make changes.
Near the middle of the page is the Smart Access Setting section
First click the Press to Enable button.
And click OK
Then the controller will ask you to verify you want to Enable Smart Access, click OK again.
If your controller is not connected to a KE2 SmartGate, you may need to Enable DHCP mode. If you aren’t certain, you should Enable DHCP.
To do this, click on the Network button on the bottom of the page. You should still be logged in, but to verify this look at the bottom right corner of the page
If the button says Logout, then you are good to go, and can make the change.
If it says Login, you’ll need to Login again.
Ok, so we are on the Network page, and in the upper right corner is the Controller Network section.
Click the DHCP Client drop down arrow and select Enabled.
Then click Save/Group near the bottom of the page.
So, we are finished setting up the controller, and ready to pull up the dashboard.
Using your PC, phone or tablet, enter smartaccess.ke2therm.net in your web browser’s address bar
Once you reach the login page, enter the default information
The default site information is: installer
and the password is the controller’s Mac Address, found on the back of the controller.
Enter it, and Click Login
And, you are now on your own KE2 Smart Access portal.
As you setup additional controllers on the portal you will see them join the dashboard.
From the dashboard you can take an in depth look at an individual controller’s webpage, by simply clicking on that controller,
and accessing the controller’s webpages.
You can also setup alarm notifications on the dashboard. So, all of the controller’s on a portal can alert you via text, or e-mail of a system alarm.
If you are interested in customizing the dashboard, see our video 066.
