If you have an old TP-Link TL-MR3040 portable router with you as a spare unused device then, it can be used as a wireless extender. We can use its own wireless capabilities to extend the internet coverage provided by our primary router.
The TL-MR3040 is a portable battery/USB powered 3G/4G wireless router designed to broadcast and allow users to share a single USB 3G/4G modem connection wirelessly. It has different modes of operation. In this video, we will configure TL-MR3040 in Access Point, Wireless repeater, and WISP (Wireless Internet Service Provider) mode in order to extend the internet connectivity.
The configuration process is quite simple. This video is trying to provide a step-by-step guide to the process. I hope this video turns out to be useful to you.
Thank you for your time.
